One of the fun things to do in Pleasanton CA and the surrounding area is go to Pleasanton’s 1st Wednesday Street Party on Main Street in Downtown Pleasanton, Wednesday September 1st from 6-9 pm. This is one of my Pleasanton CA Faves.
Finding Stella is the featured band. Finding Stella delivers the classic rock and pop spirit of the 70's and 80's
Summer and the Street parties are coming to an end. This will be your last chance to stroll down the middle of Main Street for awhile.
Main Street will be closed from Del Valle Parkway to Old Bernal Avenue from 4:30 to 10 p.m. There will be plenty of off-Main Street parking available.

One of the fun things to do in Danville CA and the surrounding area is go to
Hot Summer Nights Car Show in downtown Danville CA. It’s this week, and it’s more than a car show! There will be dancing in the streets of downtown Danville CA. Expect to hear more from me about my Danville CA Faves, San Ramon CA Faves, Pleasanton CA, Faves and Dublin CA Faves.
The event is centered on Hartz Ave and side streets in downtown Danville on Thursday August 26th from 4:00 pm until 9:00. I’ll be there to see the classic cars including muscle cars, hot rods, and vintage rides. A fair number of people turn out to see the cars and to dance in the streets to live music, 1950’s and 1960’s tunes.
In addition to the local eateries open daily in downtown Danville CA, there will be food, drink and souvenir booths throughout.
This is a dog-friendly event. Dogs on leash are welcome. Many establishments along Hartz are owned by dog-lovers. Based on past experience, I expect to find water bowls street side for Missy MacGregor, the Scottish Terrier in my life!
